To All Of Our Consumers

In light of the recent events due to the COVID—19 Virus, Experience, Inc., our local Area Agency on Aging, is committed to helping our senior population in Warren and Forest Counties stay well and safe.

The Senior Centers in both counties are closed to the public for programming, which includes the VITA Tax Preparation, as long as the school districts in Warren and Forest Counties are closed.

Congregate meals will be available for take-out from noon until 2 pm on Thursdays only at your senior center. They will come frozen and packaged in a bundle of five meals for your convenience and to save making multiple trips to your center for pick up. If you are not able to go to your center for a take-out congregate meal, please call us to inquire about receiving them at your home.

NOTE—ALL consumers in Warren and Forest Counties are to call the Allegheny Community Center at (814)723-3237, for signing up for congregate meals. We will have staff present Monday through Friday to take your phone calls regarding meals and the VITA Tax Program.   All VITA Tax appointments will be postponed until the centers reopen. We are hoping that the IRS extends the filing deadline to accommodate those who were not able to have their taxes prepared by the April 15th.

Again—to sign up for a take-out congregate meal in Warren and Forest Counties, please call the Allegheny Community Center at (814) 723-3237.

If you are in need of Home Delivered Meals, please call Experience, Inc., at (814) 723-3763, extension 139 or 122; or 1-800-281-6545 for those who do not have long distance calling.

Local Food Pantries in our area include: the Salvation Army, 311 Beech St, Warren, PA 16365, phone (814)723-8950; the Sugar Grove Food Ministry, 210 Jamestown St, Sugar Grove, PA 16350, Phone: (814) 489-3105.
